**Weight is approximate gross weight, does not include pallet.
Loose weight is Per/1000 pc. Reel weight is GW per piece count indicated.

To calculate hanger length needed:
The length of the hanger is dictated by the weight of the item being bound. If the piece is heavy, the hanger length may need to be 75-90% of the length of the binding edge to keep the corners from sagging. For typical calendar applications using 1/4" wire, a hanger length equal to 50% of the binding edge should be more than sufficient.

To calculate loop count:
The calendar hanger takes the place of three (3:1) loops. To determine the loops needed per
piece perform the usual calculation then deduct an additional three loops, then divide by two.
Example for a 12-3/4" Binging Edge:

STEP 1: 12.75 x 3 = 38.25
STEP 2: 38.25 - 1 = 37.25
STEP 3: 37.25 - 3 = 34.25
STEP 4: 34.25 / 2 = 17.125
STEP 5: Round to 17 loops PER SIDE.  34 loops PER PIECE

With a 13" Binding Edge the loop count comes to 35 loops total or 17.5 loops per side. This is the customer’s decision as to whether to round down to 17 or up to 18.

Hangers are used almost exclusively with 3:1 pitch wire.
